After fifteen years of recruiting across New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco—from Fortune 500 companies like Yahoo! to boutique firms and Jewish Family Service—Karen discovered that the best placements aren't about matching résumés. They're about understanding people.

Having studied at UC Boulder, La Sorbonne, and Oxford University, and having lived in four countries while speaking four languages, Karen brings cultural intelligence that helps her intuitively understand complex family dynamics and international lifestyles.

What distinguishes her approach is how she works: listening deeply, anticipating needs, and staying involved beyond the placement. Her non-profit background shaped her belief that recruiting affects real lives, which is why she donates a portion of every fee to charity and maintains relationships with clients long after the hire.

Kate brings over a decade of experience in both private households and corporate environments to Tailor Made Staffing. As Vice President of Recruiting, her versatile background enables her to deeply understand the dynamics and expectations of working in both the home and the office.

She has supported high-profile clients in entertainment and five-star hospitality, earning a reputation for exceptional attention to detail and outstanding client relationships. A creative and strategic thinker, Kate plays a key role in ensuring Tailor Made Staffing consistently delivers innovative, “outside the box” talent solutions.

A Los Angeles native with an international outlook, Kate has studied in Spain, France, and the U.K., and speaks three languages. She attended Boston University and holds a B.A. in Psychology from Antioch University.

Driven by a genuine love of people and matchmaking, Kate is dedicated to providing truly Tailor Made solutions for both clients and candidates.
